FMX fans and riders rejoice – the Australian FMX Pro Open is finally here! The Australian FMX Pro Open is a first-time event. The crème de la crème of professional FMX elite will go head-to-head in what is sure to be a showdown like no other as they battle for the first place crown and the chance to win a cool $10,000 in cash.

And a first place winner will not be hard to get; Australia has certainly shown it is capable of creating world’s best athletes for FMX in recent years, what with Robbie Maddison consistently breaking world distance records and Blake “Bilko” Williams taking home X Games Gold and Silver. We have set ourselves a high standard of excellence and proven that we really are the “ones to beat” when it comes to FMX on an international scale.

That’s where the Australian FMX Pro Open comes in. We need a competition to determine Australia’s elite. We need an event to draw in crowds and set a standard for FMX within Australia. The Australian FMX Pro Open intends to do just that, with professional competition for Best Whip, Best Trick and FMX, selecting the rider who can show off their skills while taming the intense course of dirt hits, 75-foot kickers and super kickers and 120-foot ramps. The course doesn’t sound easy; but the riders will be up to it!
